FolioPin is the premier platform for trade and service businesses to showcase their work and connect with local customers. We believe that every craftsman deserves a way to display their portfolio directly where their work stands.
Trade search and advertising is where FolioPin started, and it remains the way most businesses use us. It sits alongside a wider set of location-based platforms built for communities, emergencies, and municipalities, described below.

Trade Search & Advertising
Pin completed work to the map so local customers can find proven trades and services, with optional sponsor advertising for added visibility.
Folio-Pin Emergency App
A phone-first app for when the grid goes down. It shows where you are relative to emergency services, medical help, food, groceries, and hardware stores, and keeps working from cached data when connectivity is lost. Contractor and recovery search is a separate step that comes after the emergency.
Property Passport
A private registry where owners keep family contacts, priority medical tags, and valuable assets in local browser storage. It is not uploaded or centralized. Available now.
Infrastructure Debt Recovery Invoice Engine
An active invoicing engine that prices the strain development places on municipal infrastructure and aquifers. A municipality supplies the metering hardware, such as vehicle-mounted readers. FolioPin analyzes the readings and issues the invoices.
Public Safety Mesh & Navigation
Emergency tracking, school bus transit maps, and coastal hazard alerts on absolute coordinates, including the Commercial Fisherman Shark Detection Mesh. In development.
Venue Mesh Network Dome
A proposed venue-scale early-warning system for courtrooms and other sensitive places. It needs fixed receiver hardware installed at the venue and is not yet deployed.
AR Driving & Weather Plans
A subscription that turns a dashboard-mounted phone into a navigation companion for AR glasses, with weather plans for connected drivers.
Municipality 5-Department Suite
A fixed-fee license for town boards, school districts, and emergency management, bundling transit tracking, emergency routing, property registry access, and IDRIE.
Security & Data Protection
FolioPin is built so that the most sensitive information stays on your own device, and so that everything we do store is limited to what a feature needs to work.
Local-first Property Passport
Family contacts, priority medical tags, asset logs, and coordinates entered into your Property Passport are saved in your browser's local device storage. They are not uploaded to a FolioPin server, so there is no central copy to breach. Clearing your browser data removes them, so keep your own backup.
Minimal account data
Trade listings and accounts need a server database, so that information is stored there, scoped to your account, behind password-protected sign-in. Card payments are handled by Stripe and card numbers never touch FolioPin. We do not sell data or run ad-tracking networks.
Local mesh telemetry
Where mesh receivers are deployed, position and alert data is relayed between nearby nodes and shown on a local dashboard, so it does not have to pass through the public internet. Smoothed compass and distance readings run on the device itself. Mesh hardware is rolling out in stages, see the platform statuses above.
AI as an accounting meter, not a watcher
Inside the Infrastructure Debt Recovery Invoice Engine, AI acts as an administrative accounting tool. It reads metering logs supplied by a municipality's own utility and public works vehicles and calculates road wear, soil displacement, and shared aquifer load from high-impact development. The results become double-checked invoices addressed to the developers responsible, intended to bring in revenue that does not come from residential taxpayers. It does not profile residents.
No system is completely immune to attack. Local-first storage greatly reduces exposure, and we will keep this page current as our safeguards change.
